Legal

Privacy notice.

How we collect and use personal information at Dames A+P, the lawful bases we rely on, and the rights you have.

This notice explains what personal information Dames A+P collects, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to our website and to the way we deal with enquiries and business contacts.

Who we are

Dames A+P is a trading name of KDTD Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 16663107), with its registered office at Astral House, Granville Way, Bicester, England, OX26 4JT. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at tom@dames-ap.com.

The information we collect

When you make an enquiry, whether through the website form, by email or by phone, we collect the details you give us. That usually means your name, your email address, the site address or postcode you are asking about, and anything you choose to tell us about your project.

Where we carry out business-to-business marketing, we may hold the name, role, company and business address of people at developers and other organisations. We take these details from public sources, such as company websites and the Companies House register.

Our website uses privacy-friendly analytics that measure visits and page views without cookies and without identifying you personally.

How and why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond to you and to provide our services. Our lawful basis is that we are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and then performing that contract.

We use business-contact information to tell relevant organisations about our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in promoting professional services to businesses that may need them. You can object to this at any time, and we will stop.

We use website analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the site well.

Marketing and your choices

If we contact you as a business about our services, you can ask us to stop at any time by emailing tom@dames-ap.com, and we will remove your details from our outreach. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf and under our instructions: our website host and analytics provider (Vercel), the service that delivers website enquiries to our inbox (Resend), and our email provider (IONOS). We do not otherwise share your information, except where the law requires it.

Storage and international transfers

Website enquiries are delivered to our email inbox; the website itself does not keep a separate database of enquiries. Some of our providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows. We keep business-contact details for as long as they remain relevant to our marketing, unless you ask us to stop sooner.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and, where relevant, to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email tom@dames-ap.com.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, although we would welcome the chance to put things right first.

We may update this notice from time to time. This version was published in August 2026.
